Greg is co-owner of Able with his wife, Catie. He has over 25 years of hands-on HVAC experience, both residential and commercial, and plays a fundamental role in the success of our company. Greg is a Navy veteran and started working in the HVAC field in 1994. He has worked in all aspects of HVAC with his primary focus in educating our customers on the products they purchase for their homes and/or businesses. Greg holds a master tradesman license in HVAC and Gas Fitters. He strives to accommodate the needs of our customers and works long hours and weekends to ensure they have the best customer service possible. Greg also invests his time in helping people through volunteer work with our local Power Pack and offers support to many different causes such as Habitat for Humanity and the Wounded Warrior project. He is a passionate worker who strives to be professional in all aspects of the job. He has great admiration of his wife, Catie, as she reflects the same hardworking attitude he has. Greg's personal motto in life is to “work hard” at everything you do. Through all of Greg’s accomplishments, he finds his greatest one is being a father to his three boys.

“It is our pleasure to leave a review for this fabulous TEAM. Our experience first began when Greg came to our home after we had a leak problem with one of our units. He gave sound advice as well as professionalism, knowledge and expertise. We ended up needing a new heating and air replacement. The installer Jason was amazing. He was always on time and even sent me a phone message before his arrival. He worked diligently, effectively each day with several assistants Eli and Riley and others. It was a difficult time for our family with the loss of a loved one while the installation occurred. They were kind and respectful during this difficult time, treated us like FAMILY. On a scale of 1 to 5, we give them a 10!! Their service is off the charts from their receptionists Amber to Lorraine who schedules the work, simply fantastic. One day into this summer’s 95-plus degree heat wave, our 23-year old TRANE heat pump stopped working. A minor repair got it going again, but we saw it as a sign that now was time to replace the aging system. Our number one priority was to find a local service provider who sold TRANE units. We selected Able Heating & Air and couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. They sell quality products and back them up with superb service and installation work. Neil met with us, performed a detailed analysis, and offered a package that would not only replace our existing system, but also solve nagging hotspot problems we had been struggling with for years. This involved replacing the primary heat pump and adding a mini-split unit to address the hotspot issue. First came the mini-split. Joe completed the installation in two days. He was meticulous in every aspect of the procedure and the resulting improvement was immediate. Shortly after, Mike and Greg followed up with replacement of the primary heat pump. The results were nothing less than amazing. Even though the ensuing month was the hottest in memory, our electric bill actually dropped substantially from the same month last year and the temperature level of every area remained cool and constant. The best part of the project was the follow-up service provided by Greg’s team. Remember that this was our primary consideration when selecting a HVAC company. We were not disappointed. As with any retrofit, adjustments were expected. Ours was no exception in that an air duct needed to be modified. Mike and Mark did an expert job of making and installing the needed connection. The result was professional.. We look forward to many years of a perfectly functioning system with continuing service by the staff of Able Heating & Air. “I came home at night to find my ac not working, wasn’t even running. Of course this happened on the hottest day, 97 during the day, and it was close to 80 degrees in my home. So I called Able, who my family has been using for quite some time, around 5-6pm. I spoke with a representative who took my info and told me I’d get a call back once he passed my info on to the team in the morning, which was of course understandable. However I received a call from the owner, maybe 30 minutes later, who said he would head over to take a look and try to get it up and running that night, for a very reasonable service charge. He came over and diagnosed the problem very quickly, fixed it on the spot, again for a reasonable charge. After that my ac turned right back on and have had no issues since. TLDR: Quick, reliable service, reasonable prices, good communication and customer service. Highly recommend!” – Micah M.

“Able never lets me down and honestly in todays world, it’s almost alot to expect common courtesy, much less excellent service. I always have a great experience with all the staff from reception, to dispatch to service provided. Over the years receiving service, I’ve had to replace my AC, furnace and water heater in my 20+ year old home. “Greg and his other service people are very informed as to the full list of procedures required on HVAC systems. We had a bad experience of smelling “Dirty Socks”. After their investigation finding the correct coil sprays the smell never returned. You can’t tell how relieved we were——Thanks. “Our upstairs heat-pump stopped working a couple of days ago when the power went out. As always, a call to Greg and Catie at Able Heating & Air elicited an immediate response. While Greg was unable to remotely troubleshoot our problem, he personally came out within a couple hours of our phone call to diagnose the issue and repair it. Polite, (as always) and wearing all appropriate PPE, he found the issue and fixed it within a couple of minutes. We've lived in Lake of the Woods now for almost 4 years and our experience with Greg and his entire crew at Able over this time keeps us calling them first any time we have a problem. “On a vey busy day Greg came to our rescue. The evening before our Trane HVAC had proceeded to increase the level of heat to 82 degrees and was still rising. I went to the thermostat with its instruction booklet and with very limited tech knowledge was able to get the temp to a more moderate degree. Called Able and they responded later this morning when all technicians were very busy. The response was above and beyond a normal expected response. We recalled a problem earlier in which a "sham"
